Brief description of operations 2
Investigation in the reactor building

Investigations have been made with regards to dose distribution, contamination condition, accumulated water level and temperature etc. in the reactor building for improvement of working environment, selection of construction method, water leak investigation and water stop measure implementation, development of remote decontamination technology etc. Various robots are used in tje investigations because of high dose rate in the building.

Investigation of Unit 2 Operation Floor
Reinvestigation of Unit 1 Operation Floor
Equipment installation

Installation of temporary reactor pressure indicators in the reactor building of Unit 1, installation of PCV thermometer and water gauge in Unit 1 and installation of Unit 2 RPV alternative thermometer were performed after improvement of working environment such as shielding and decontamination.

Dose measurement work inside of the primary containment vessels of unit 2
Installation of temporary reactor pressure indicators in the reactor building of unit 1
Debris removal at the upper part of the reactor building

Debris removal from the upper part of Units 3-4 reactor building were performed for fuel removal at Unit 4 spent@fuel pool (planned to start in 2013). In these operations, various dismantling heavy machineries including@utilization of remote control system were used.
