2010 ISOE Asian ALARA Symposium
The 2010 ISOE Asian ALARA Symposium was held on August 30-31 2010 in Gyonjui, Korea, with attendance of about 120 individuals from Korea, Japan and USA.
The first day was for the comprehensive session, and the second day was for the session in the hall separated two rooms, session 2 and 3. Finally, a distinguished paper (ISOE award) was selected for each session.
gAn experience of reduction of Airborne Tritium Releaseh presented by Mr. Jason Shin (Wolsong NPP, KHNP, Korea) in session 2 and gOperation of Remote Monitoring and Video telephony system for Advanced RPh presented by Mr. Weon seob YooniUlchin NPP, KHNP, Koreajin session 3 were selected as the distinguished papers.
They will be invited to present the paper at the 2012 ISOE International ALARA Symposium in USA.
Technical award was given for presentation by Mr. Jinhyuk Fred Chung (Korea Industrial Testing Co.,Ltd.)
Technical visits to Shin- Wolsong under construction and Wolsong 3 in the Wolsong NPP, and to the Wolsong low and intermediate level radioactive waste disposal center under construction took place on September 1 2010 after the symposium.
